Zelle FAQ
Limits are applicable to sending transactions only, not to receiving funds/transactions via Zelle®.
- Transaction - the maximum dollar amount a user may send in a single transaction
- Daily – the maximum amount a user may send from 12AM to 11:59PM in the FI’s time zone. This is cumulative of all transactions across all enrolled accounts. The daily limit must be equal to or greater than the transaction limit, or transactions will fail due to the transaction level limit.
- Weekly - the maximum amount a user may send in a rolling 7-day period - cumulative of all transactions across all enrolled accounts (from midnight of the current day). Must be equal to or greater than the transaction and daily limits, or transactions will fail due to the transaction or daily limit.
- Monthly - the maximum amount a user may send in a rolling 30-day period - cumulative of all transactions across all enrolled accounts for the last 30 calendar days (from midnight of the current day).
- Transactions to first time recipients limited to $100
- Transactions to recipients with Zelle at a financial institution (not stand-alone app)
